What should I do if my tuberculosis (TB) screening results are positive?

A positive blood test result means that you were infected with TB, but does not indicate as to when the infection occurred, ie. it does not necessarily mean that you were infected by the TB case in your workplace. If you have a positive blood test or an abnormal chest X-ray, appropriate measures will be taken on your follow up visit.
