The aLIVE programme focuses on these core components in Islamic Education:

1. Tauhid and Fiqh,

2. Sirah and Islamic Civilisation,

3. Quranic Literacy and Understanding,

4. Akhlak and Lifeskills.

The programme is designed to suit the developmental stages and learning needs of students as they grow.

For example, a topic on bulugh (preparation for puberty) is briefly introduced to 9 year olds. It is later discussed in depth when they are 12 years old and revisited again at age thirteen. This is done so that appropriate topics can be introduced gradually at different stages of the students' lives.

This will impact them meaningfully given their increased maturity, and where possible, learning is applied to their daily lives.
