The removal of Saturday operations for childcare centres is a significant step towards enhancing the well-being of Early Childhood (EC) educators, making the sector more appealing for a sustainable career. Additionally, starting from 2024, Teachers' Day and Children's Day will be observed as preschool holidays, allowing educators time to rest. Six preschool closure days are now "Development Days" for focused professional growth. The Early Childhood Industry Transformation Map (ITM) 2025 aims to establish the EC profession as a desirable career by ensuring competitive salaries and emphasizing professional development to improve working conditions.
