From 1 July 2024, all parents eligible for the Baby Bonus Scheme can now go to LifeSG mobile app/website as the single seamless touchpoint to apply for the benefits.

• For newborns, you can enrol for Baby Bonus benefits during birth registration on LifeSG at https://www.life.gov.sg/services/birth-registration

• For children already registered for their birth, you can enrol for Baby Bonus benefits at https://www.life.gov.sg/services/baby-bonus

New Child Savings Account (CSA)

• The CSA is a joint savings account that opens automatically at the same time with the CDA when a child is enroled for the Baby Bonus Scheme.

• With a savings account, it will be easier for the child to receive Government payouts, like the Baby Bonus cash gift, MOE education awards and financial assistance.

Accounts-related services

• Parents can now go directly to the banks eservices to submit requests to (i) change bank, (ii) change CDA trustee and joint account holder for CSA; and (iii) update personal details for the CDA/CSA.
