The Child Development Account (CDA) will be closed on 31 December in the year your child turns 12 years old, and the balance will be automatically transferred to the Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA).

If the child was born between 2006 and 2012, the CDA trustee may transfer the CDA funds to the child’s PSEA before the child turns 12 years old. The CDA trustee may make the request for transfer any time after 31 December in the year the child turns 6 years old.

To submit a request for transfer, the CDA trustee can access “Transfer CDA Savings to PSEA” using Singpass via ‘[Services]’ on Baby Bonus Online.
