What should we do if we disagree with the doctor's assessment that an employee is diagnosed with an occupational disease or that the condition is work-related?

If your company disagrees with the doctor's assessment that an employee's illness is work-related, the following steps can be taken:
- Seek clarification from the doctor.
- Approach the doctor for clarification if there are any doubts regarding the diagnosis of the employee.
- Provide information for the doctor's review, including the following:
- Job title, tasks, duration and nature of exposure to hazards at work.
- Workplace hygiene monitoring records such as noise monitoring report and dosimetry, or chemical monitoring report.
- Records of previous medical monitoring like previous audiograms
- Notify Ministry of Manpower (MOM):
- If the condition is work-related, the company should submit the notification via iReport.
