Do I need to apply for a new ABTC upon expiry if my passport remains valid after my ABTC expires?
The validity of the ABTC is five years or up to the validity of the passport, whichever is shorter. Should you require a new ABTC upon the expiry of your existing ABTC, although your passport is still valid, you need to apply for a new ABTC.
