When can the sellers or buyers endorse the documents?
The documents will be ready for endorsement about three weeks after we have accepted the resale application. We will notify the sellers and buyers via SMS to endorse the documents.
Do I have to sign on the resale documents uploaded for my endorsement?
There is no need for physical signatures. You can endorse the resale documents online via the HDB Resale Portal.
How will I be notified that the draft financial plan (or for sellers, the sale proceeds calculation) and resale documents are ready for my endorsement?
Once these documents are ready, they will be posted on the HDB Resale Portal. We will notify the sellers and buyers via SMS to endorse the documents. We will also send you an email, if you have given us your email address.
If I have questions on the draft financial plan (sale proceeds calculation) or the resale documents, who can I contact to seek clarifications?
You can contact the Customer Relations Manager (CRM) in charge of your application for clarifications. The CRM's contact details are provided on the HDB Resale Portal.
What must I do to endorse the documents?
You will receive a SMS notification to endorse the documents within 6 calendar days. Log into the HDB Resale Portal, open and read the document. Thereafter, click the accompanying checkbox to endorse it. Repeat the process until you have finished endorsing all the documents. As the documents are in pdf format, you can save a copy for reference.
The flat is bought (sold) with 3 other buyers (sellers). Are they required to endorse the documents as well? What about my spouse, who is an occupier of the flat or my parents when we apply for the Proximity Housing Grant?
Yes, the documents must be endorsed individually by all the buyers (sellers). When you log into the HDB Resale Portal, all the parties who need to endorse the relevant documents will be indicated, together with the status of the endorsement by each individual. This is to help you track that all the documents are endorsed within the timeframe given.
Are the Administrators and Executors able to endorse the resale documents on the HDB Resale Portal?
As long as the Administrators and Executors have a valid Singpass, they can endorse the resale documents on the HDB Resale Portal.
My family member who needs to endorse the documents at the HDB Resale Portal does not have a Singpass. What should he/she do?
If your family member is a Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident, he/she can apply for a Singpass at the Singpass service link on the login page of the HDB Resale Portal or at the Singpass website at www.singpass.gov.sg. If your family member is a non-resident, he/she may sign the documents in person at our office. Please contact our Customer Relations Manager to make an appointment.
How much time do I have to endorse the proposed financial plan (sale proceeds calculation) and resale documents?
You will be given 6 calendar days to endorse the draft financial plan (or sale proceeds calculation) and resale documents.
What happens if I have overlooked it and missed the 6 calendar days' deadline?
A reminder SMS will be sent if the documents are not endorsed. We will extend the deadline by an additional 2 calendar days. If buyers and sellers fail to endorse the documents within the extended deadline, the resale application will be cancelled.
