A company that meets all the following criteria can apply for the EEG (Advanced):

• Business entity registered and operating in Singapore in the following sectors:
  • Construction companies that are classified under SSIC 41 - 43
  • Manufacturing companies that are classified under SSIC 10 to 32 (including Food Manufacturing)
  • Maritime companies which include:
    • Port Port companies classified under SSIC 23940, 24109, 49231, 50021, 50023, 52101, 52221, 52222, 52224, 52243, 52292
      
      
• Has a minimum of 30% local shareholding³
• Employ at least one local employee at the firm-level⁴
• Has a Group Annual Sales Turnover no more than S$500 million⁵

The following entities do not qualify for grant support:

• Charities
• Institutions of Public Characters (IPCs)
• Religious entities
• Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs)
• Government agencies and subsidiaries
• Co-operative societies and societies

² Companies may be requested to furnish supporting documents as part of the grant application process.

³ For maritime companies, business entities need not have a minimum of 30% local shareholding criteria.

⁴ Maritime companies should employ at least one local employee at the group-level.

⁵ SME is defined as having:

• Group Annual Sales Turnover of not more than S$100 million; or
• Group Employment Size of not more than 200 workers
