Should I notify the preschool if my employment status changes or if there is a change in my household income?

Subsidy - Application

Updated by ECDA

ECDA reassesses subsidies at specific points to provide stability for parents.

These points are:

(i) when your child enrols in a new preschool

(ii) when your child moves from infant care to childcare, or

(iii) when your child progresses from Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 1.

Changes in your household income or employment between these points will not affect your child's subsidies. However, if your circumstances change significantly (e.g. if you or your spouse had a significant pay cut), you can request a reassessment. On how to request for subsidy reassessment, you may visit our preschool subsidy webpage: https://www.ecda.gov.sg/parents/preschool-subsidies/how-to-apply-or-make-changes-to-subsidies/request-for-subsidy-reassessment
