Do I need to register my unmanned aircraft (UA) if I am using it for flight testing purposes?

Yes, you will be required to register the UA for all flight testing purposes, if the total weight of the UA at the time of operations, including any add-on items or modifications, exceeds 250g. This is regardless of whether the UA is likely to sustain damages requiring repairs during the course of the flight testing.
