For HMTL students, they will be registered for their respective O Level MTL in Secondary 3. They will take the Oral and Listening in July/ August and the written papers at the end of the year. The results from their O Level MTL (taken in Secondary 3) will be released usually in Jan the following year when they are in Secondary Four. The results will help to inform them on their suitability to continue with the rigour of HTML as an O Level subject when they progress to Secondary 4. In Secondary 4, they will be taking their oral examination in late July to early August, and the rest of their components for O Level HMTL at the end of the year.
