This means that all non-registered healthcare practitioners who have been using the “Dr” title in their healthcare service advertising must now clearly state their qualifications and include a disclaimer that they do not hold a valid practising certification with a relevant local healthcare professional board or include a disclaimer that their educational qualification is not a medical or dental qualification, where needed.
